We hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend! Last night was the MTV awards in case some you didn't watch (it plays on repeat on MTV in case you want to catch it). The MTV red carpet usually gives celebs a chance to get "innovative" and courageous with their style but this year most them stayed relatively conservative. Instead of the crazy hairdos and scantily clad looks of yesteryear, the ruling trends of the night were sequins, animal prints, and short length dresses. Here is what we thought of styles worn by some of the hot mamas who attended the award show:
*Honored with the Generation Award for her epic career so far, Reese Witherspoon looked sexy in her figure flattering leopard print with simple accessories and nude colored heels (pictured above).
* We love the risk that Bryce took as far as color with her grecian inspired gown. Because she is a fair colored skinned red head, we would have preferred a different color palette but we do like the color blocking and flow of the dress.
*Musician Dave Grohl and his beautiful wife Jordyn Blum left the kids at home to step out for the evening. Jordyn rocked her LBD with sheer straps and kept her accessories to a minimum.
