Today's generation of parents are more inclined to refer to pop culture when chosing their child's name according to Baby Center. In fact, according to this year's studies over 36% of expectant parents were inspired by social media when it came to chosing their baby's name. As for the psychology behind the name , it seems that positive connotations are particularly important. Hence, our beloved characters from the movie/book, "Twilight" have ascended to top 10 status this year. Love "Quinn" from Glee? Bristol Palin from "Dancing with the Stars" or Bode Miller from the winter Olympics? You're not alone.
