Wear it Wednesday!

With all of the trendy accessories out there, what are some the hottest styles for bags and shoes this spring and are they wearable for moms to be?

* Totes in all sizes like tall totes (great carryalls) and roomy cross body bags are a definite must for expectant moms. Keep the size of the bag in mind when choosing because getting a bag that is too large will end up causing pain to your back. Not fun. Just because these bags are practical doesn't mean you can't play up the styles with vibrant hues however neutrals are always classic.

*Purses with texture, like those that are perforated are very trendy at the moment. You can find these bags in bright colors and in all different styles. We like this style bag as a clutch for going out and events.

* Feeling blase about your clothes but want to step up your outfit a notch? Go for a pair of colorful shoes like a ballerina flat or kitten heels. Celebrities are always adding punch to their outfits via accessories, so why shouldn't you?

*Canvas shoes and espadrilles. Comfy and casual, canvas shoes and espadrilles can be made polished enough to wear to the office but are also a great "everyday" shoe. The fabric is breathable and generally speaking, espadrilles have comfortable wedges. The fun thing about canvas is that unlike leather, this fabric can be made in print or additional flair. We saw a pair of striped canvas espadrilles at H &M recently that we looooved!

*Chunky platforms made from wood? Yes, they look cool and retro. Are they a good choice for you? No. Unfortunately, this shoe category as well as wooden clogs should remain off your shopping list until you are post-partum. These shoes will offer you style but no comfort and with so many other wonderful styles out there, you have no reason to suffer this spring/summer.

What accessories have you been flipping for this spring?

Have a great day!

xoxo,
The Moody Mamas
